On the welcome book's Share screen: the link, the QR code to download, and the covering message to send it by email, WhatsApp or text.
Two ways. Download the QR code on its own from the Share screen for your own materials, or generate a poster from the platform: several styles, customisable, with the QR code built in.
Two things need to be kept apart, and this is the most common confusion. On the welcome book's Share screen, it is free and unlimited: the QR code to download and posters ready to print. A host who simply wants to display their QR code in a room pays nothing. The bespoke poster is a separate offer: a customisable template (styles, colours, text). The first one is free but its QR code stops after 10 scans, beyond that number guests land on a limit page. The paid version removes that limit (unlimited scans) and gives you tracking of how many times the poster has been opened. On top of that, printing and postal delivery is available as an option. A free poster you have already created can be unlocked afterwards, without having to redo it. Prices are shown at the point of ordering. So a paid account does NOT make the bespoke poster free: the subscription covers the welcome book, the unlimited bespoke poster is a separate purchase. If a host is surprised to see a price, it is almost always because they are in the bespoke offer and not on the Share screen, so point them to the Share screen if all they want is the free option.
Two possible causes. If the poster is a free one, it has reached its scan limit: unlock it from your poster orders. If the poster has just been created, its QR code is only activated once the order is confirmed.
Yes, bulk ordering lets you generate and download the posters for several welcome books in one go, and track the scans of each one.
Yes. The paper welcome book is generated from the platform: you choose a style and a content template, you preview it, then you download the print-ready PDF. Generation runs in the background, including for several welcome books at once, and you are notified when it is ready.
You share the welcome book link in your automatic messages (Airbnb, Booking, confirmation emails) or on your website. The link works everywhere, with nothing to install. The Share screen also lets you fine-tune the preview shown when the link is shared.
The welcome book has one unique link per property, not per guest. To control who has access, use access lists.
