One of our favourite districts is Les Carmes, so do go and take a wander there. And if you're after peace and quiet, Toulouse has plenty to offer on that front too. The Japanese botanical garden and the Île de la Ramée are the places to head for.

Eating out with ease

Food lovers won't be disappointed either: our advice is simply to follow your heart and let yourself be tempted by the city's little restaurants. They're delicious!

And of course we haven't forgotten the party-goers among us! Between Place Saint-Pierre, with famous bars such as "Chez tonton" and "Le Saint des seins", and the Jean-Jaurès district with its nightclubs, there's more than enough for a few lively nights out!

Finally, for those with a thirst for knowledge, head to the aeronautics museum on the Airbus site or to the Cité de l'Espace. You can even climb aboard a real space shuttle!
