StyQR offers simple options for managing travelers’ access to your booklet after their departure. Here’s how to disable access:
1. Regenerate booklet link and QR code
- Why is that? When you regenerate the booklet link, the associated URL and QR code change. This makes the old link and QR code unusable for travelers who had access to them.
- How to do it:
- Log in to your StyQR account.
- Go to the “My booklets” section.
- Select the relevant booklet.
- Click on “Regenerate link” or “Regenerate QR code”.
- Download and share the new link or QR code with future travelers.
2. Digital sharing rather than printed QR code
- Recommendation: To avoid having to replace frequently printed QR codes, share the booklet link with your travelers digitally (via e-mail or SMS). This facilitates regeneration and access management.
3. Delete or temporarily deactivate booklet
- Temporary deactivation:
- You can choose to temporarily deactivate a booklet from your StyQR space. This prevents access to all users until you reactivate it.
- How to do it:
- Go to “My booklets”.
- Select the booklet you wish to deactivate.
- Click on the “Disable” option.
4. Management by specific module (optional)
- If certain modules or information should no longer be accessible (access codes, specific instructions, etc.), you can modify or delete only those sections without regenerating the complete link.
