Superhosts: their tips for a listing that stands out
Always looking for ways to improve your listing? Superhosts answer your questions!
The superhosts are something of the Airbnb elite: they have hosted guests at least 10 times, have at least 80% five-star reviews and a response rate of at least 90%. So today we're sharing a few of their tips for a listing that stands out.

Set the scene in your property
"We know that the photos of our property catch the eye. The decor, the paintings and the houseplants go down particularly well. Don't be afraid to bring some creativity into your space: that's what will set it apart from other properties." Ludovic and Maxime, Paris, Île-de-France.
Photos are hugely important, and we've written a whole article on the subject. Bear in mind that they are the front door to your property. It's the photos that will make up your guests' minds, one way or the other.

Take care over your listing
"The first photo in our listing is appealing: the terrace is sunny and looks out over a lovely view, a real invitation to get away. We also chose a title that grabs attention: "A little love nest in the heart of the Auvergne", which hints at a cosy experience. It's just as important to have a clear listing, so I've included photos of the property from every angle and clearly listed the many amenities we provide: all reassuring details for guests! Finally, I pay very close attention to cleaning, a very important point at the moment." Tina and her family, Le Broc, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
After the photos, the most important thing is the written content of your listing. Take the time to write it and to update it regularly. Spell out the amenities available, the activities on offer nearby: anything that can show off your property. For inspiration, do take a look at the listings marked "superhost" on Airbnb.

Let your personality show in your listing
"When I welcome guests, they are stepping into my private world in a way, because it's where I live. My home is a pleasant place to be and, above all, it's full of memories. My decor has an unclassifiable, very personal style that catches the eye and appeals to guests." Eñaut, Chéraute, Nouvelle-Aquitaine
So the decor and the living environment matter a great deal in your photos. Tidy up well, but not too much. In the blink of an eye, your guests should want to relax on your sofa or drink a coffee on your beautiful terrace. And what about you: what's your little secret for boosting your listing?
