How do you personalise your welcome book?Start by creating your StyQR welcome book by clicking here.
Set up your welcome book: enter the book's details (title, subtitle, address of the property). Choose and fill in the information for the modules you want (Wi-Fi code, entry codes, local recommendations, useful numbers and so on).
Once that's done, you'll reach the « Personalisation« tab. There you can choose from a wide range of ready-made themes (nature, mountains, sea, forest, cities and more).
To unlock fully bespoke personalisation (with your own image and the colours and fonts of your choice), you first need to confirm your welcome book.
In your admin area, choose our Premium plan. You can then go back and edit your welcome book to change its appearance.Bespoke personalisationEdit your welcome book, go to the Personalisation tab, then click on the « bespoke« symbol.
First choose your background: either a colour or an image. If you go for an image, it must be no larger than 750 KB.
Next, choose your fonts from the drop-down list.
Finally, select the colours you want. You can also adjust their opacity.
Do make sure that the elements of your welcome book remain easy to read (colours, opacity and so on).
You can see a live preview of how your welcome book looks as you personalise it. Do I need to validate the welcome book before personalizing it? Yes, custom personalization is only available after you validate your welcome book. You'll also need to upgrade to our Premium plan to access the advanced editor. Once validated and on Premium, you can return anytime to modify your welcome book's appearance.
What preset themes are available? StyQR offers several ready-to-use themes: nature, mountain, sea, forest, and major cities. These themes let you quickly personalize your welcome book without using the advanced editor. If none suits you, you can choose custom personalization with your own images and colors.
What is the maximum file size for a background image? Your image file must not exceed 750 KB. Respecting this limit ensures your welcome book loads correctly and remains accessible on all devices. If your image is too large, you'll need to compress it before uploading.
Can I preview my personalization before publishing? Yes, you'll see a real-time preview of your customization in the editor. To test in real conditions, save your changes and access your welcome book using the URL link or QR code on your smartphone. This lets you check readability and appearance before offering it to your guests.
Can I adjust the opacity of colors? Yes, you can adjust the opacity of the colors you choose. This allows you to fine-tune contrast and readability of your welcome book. Just ensure your elements remain clearly readable so your guests can easily access all information.
How do I access the custom personalization editor? Once your welcome book is created and validated, go to your admin area, upgrade to Premium, then return to edit your book. In the Personalization tab, click the custom symbol to access the advanced editor where you can modify the background, fonts, and colors.
