Do you rent out (or swap) your property, run a hotel, a guest house or a campsite, and sometimes welcome guests from abroad? This article is for you!

Overseas visitors, especially if they don't speak the local language, can quickly feel at a loss when there is a lack of information in their native language.

So it's important to give them, in their own language, the right information so they can fully enjoy their stay!

Discover our tips for translating your welcome book into several languages. How do you translate the items inyour StyQR welcome book?Start by creating your StyQR welcome book by clicking here.

The simplest approach is to set up your whole welcome book first, in French. Once the set-up is complete, you'll need to switch to a Premium account to access the translation features.

On the “Your welcome books” page, click on the welcome book concerned to edit it.

On each text box, you can click on the “+” flag to add a translation language. In addition to French, 7 languages are available: English, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese and Russian.

You can then either write the translation yourself if you're comfortable in the language concerned, or click on “Generate an automatic translation” if you'd like us to take care of it for you!

The text boxes to be translated are therefore in:

, Welcome book info

, Wi-Fi module (if you use a Hotspot)

, Keypad code module

, Useful Numbers module

, Practical Info module

, Guest Book module

All the other items in the welcome book will be translated automatically.

How does it workfor your guests? If you have a StyQR Premium account and your welcome book has been properly translated, your guests will access your welcome book directly in the default language of their web browser.

If their language hasn't been set up, then English will be the language offered by default.

The basic elements of the welcome book (interface, module names, etc.) will be translated automatically, with nothing for you to do.

Would you like to test the translation of your welcome book? To do so, change the default language of your phone (in Settings > General, etc.) or of your web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.), then open your welcome book using the URL link or the QR code. You now have everything you need to create your multilingual digital welcome book!
