Pet hair: the kit that finally gets rid of it

You allow pets in your rental but you've had enough of spending hours cleaning up pet hair? Here are a few genuinely useful accessories!

For furniture

Pet hair on a sofa is the worst of all! It works its way into the fabric and becomes impossible to get out!

Here's what we use to sort it out:

• Fabric shavers
• Thepet hair removal brush(brilliant on clothes too)
• A roll of heavy-duty tape (an old trick that still works a treat)

For hair on furniture, nothing could be simpler: just use a Swiffer or a microfibre cloth.

 

For floors and clothes

Now let's tackle floors. To clean the surface, we have two options: a rubber hair-catching broom or a vacuum cleaner designed for pet hair.

Do bear in mind that pets walk on your floors and then lick their paws, so it's best to be careful and use a product specially formulated for them (here's an example).
