Its story

It was thanks to the first lockdown that every member of the ValueState Hôtels group was able to focus on the idea of founding Life.

Yes, at that point we were all at home either working or looking for a new hobby to take up.

From the brainstorming to the creation of Life « Better than home », « Mieux qu’à la maison », these passionate professionals took the time to think through the idea and its 4 pillars Sleep, Work, Arty & Play.

Of course, they thought of everything: the importance of digital and the protection of the environment, so much so that they wanted to create a newgen brand while staying true to the values that more and more of us hold dear.

Sleep

Inside the property you will find rooms with a design unique to each site.

Everything has been thought out so that you can enjoy a wonderful stay, from the layout to the pared-back decor that will immerse you in the Life atmosphere.

So as well as recharging your batteries in unrivalled bedding, you also get to make the most of Chromecast! Perfect for a chilled evening in front of your favourite series.

Work

Some of those rooms adapt to your needs to give you a workspace.

And what is more, coworking is available, perfect for brainstorming as a group, or for having a quiet spot where you can work in complete peace. It has all been designed for exactly that!

Play

In the Play rooms, you will find everything you need for a workout.

Sports accessories, and training videos made especially for LIFE.

You will be in great shape thanks to these complete sessions!

If you are more drawn to places to meet and share, you will be delighted by the communal areas.

Things like a library, games and little surprises put together for you by members of the team are waiting!

Arty

On the design side, every LIFE space was conceived by the architect MOHA.

From the breakfast room through the warm, welcoming area at the heart of the food offering, all the way to the centre of this honeycomb…

Of course LIFE always protects the environment, with a symbolic design tied to the vital need to eat well.

In July 2021, in Marseille, in the heart of the Vieux Port, Life Hotels opened its first property. What could be better than spending a weekend somewhere close to the beach?

At the heart of wine country

You know Bordeaux railway station? Right next door is the second Life Hôtels property, which opened its doors in January 2022! Currently being renovated, it cannot wait to welcome you and show you its one-of-a-kind world.

So who came up with this wonderful idea?

Indeed, François Dubrule and Alexis Caude are the two entrepreneurs who founded the sendinblueValueState group in 2010 before going on to create the Life brand.
