Welcome to Barcelonala ciudad de Gaudí

Barcelona is a young, lively and student city. It combines what we (normally) love most.

A lifestyle to make you swoon, year-round sunshine and food to die for. If you agree with us so far, we’ll keep going 😉.

Visitthe pretty neighborhoods

It’s truly a city of many faces, with every district having its own story to tell and discover.

The El Born and Montjuic districts are less touristy, but are also packed with places not to be missed.

Visit

Its monuments are each more surprising than the last. The Sagrada Familia comes to mind, with its original architecture and history, the unfinished work of its architect.

Next, the famous Parc Guell. Here again, surprising architecture and colors, with a view over the heights of the city, is atypical and original. It’s a departure from classic monuments, and we love it.

You’ll also have the chance to discover the many facades designed by Gaudi. The houses can usually be visited, but you should expect to wait a fair amount of time.

There’s also a nice viewpoint if you want to admire the city from above: El Bunker del Carmel.

The oldtown

A stroll through the old town and its narrow streets is another way to discover a city. And it has to be said that Barcelona’s old town is very pretty!

Don’t hesitate to make a detour to Plaça Reial to discover its pretty palm trees.

Strollalong the Ramblas

This is no longer a small street, but 1.2 km long. Las Ramblas, Barcelona’s most famous avenue.

It’s famous for its small shops, flower stalls and tourist appeal. You could say it’s the heart of the city.

Good places toeat

Let’s talk about food and gastronomy! As good French people, we pride ourselves on our gastronomy, and rightly so. But being a good sport, we have to admit that Spanish food is really something.

A few good addresses just for you: Tapas Season and La Tasqueta de Blai. Let us know what you think!

Finally, don’t forget to visit the Boqueria market. It’s rich in color and flavor!

The Catalan capital is a jewel of culture and wealth. You’re bound to find a little something that appeals to you.
