Rategreen: the Yuka of travel?
Rategreen, the new site for finding out the CSR rating of your trip!
Have you heard of Rategreen? Thanks to this solution, guests can now get a rating for each type of service, as well as an overall rating for their trip in terms of CSR impact!

As a reminder, CSR stands for "Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility".
How does it work?
Rategreen's aim? To offer precise, standardised ratings for the four main travel sectors: air travel, trains, cars and hotels.
How? By teaming up with AFNOR Certification, they have developed an exclusive, registered CSR framework based on the ISO 26000 standard.
On what basis? On the five main CSR criteria: local roots, travelling guests, the environment, human resources and social issues, vision and governance.
The results? By bringing all these criteria together, they arrive at two types of rating. One per type of service (train, hotel, etc.) and one independent overall rating (the trip as a whole).
The added extras? Rategreen doesn't stop there: it also helps you better understand your consumption habits and see the changes you could make to improve them.
From now on, anyone who signs up with Rategreen will be able to use the CSR rating as a criterion when a customer wants to book a trip. A good CSR rating is a real differentiator and one that consumers increasingly look for. A great way to stand out from the competition!
An optional module available
To go further, the site even offers an additional module to influence the travel decision from the outset.
Take the Yuka app, for example: when you scan a product and it gets a poor score, you generally receive a few recommendations for products that are better for your health. With this add-on module, it's exactly the same!
In other words, once you have your overall rating, Rategreen will suggest alternatives (where they exist) with a better CSR rating, while still matching your requirements in terms of location, services and price.
