You've picked the perfect poster for your property, and now the question is: where do you print it?
Because you probably don't fancy using the printer at home, or you've got all sorts of questions about print quality…
This top 5 of online printers is here to help!
And to save you time (yes, we love doing that at StyQR), we ran a sample order on each site and written up the formats, prices and different paper types for you. They're all great and easy to use, and we've saved our favourite for last.
The 5 best online printers
1. Online Printers
Let's start with Online Printers: this site is clearly built so you find what you need fast!
One click in the search bar and there you go, the product page appears with illustrated products already sorted for you!
And you'll see that choosing your format is child's play.
As for printing, you can choose the paper weight: 100gsm, 115gsm or 135gsm, plus the print run. Do note that the minimum order is 10 prints.
On delivery, Online Printers offers 3 turnaround times: 3 working days (no extra charge), 2 working days (11.16 € charge) or express printing, where your order is delivered the same day, though that comes at 25.76 €. It's up to you!
As you know, our posters come in A3, A4 or A5.
Quick heads-up: Online Printers lets you choose A3 or A4, but doesn't offer our latest addition, the A5 format. That said, you can order your poster in A5 in the “flyers” category. The quality is different, but behind a frame it will look perfectly fine. One small tip: avoid a glossy finish, as it makes scanning a QR code trickier.

Here we went for 100gsm coated paper with a glossy coated finish, no folding, including the file check and a standard production time (3 to 4 working days), so as not to add extra costs.
Online Printers sets a minimum of 10 copies on both formats: 43.09 € for 10 A3 posters, 49.90 € for 10 A4.
And for A5, we selected 135gsm coated paper with a 3 working day production time:
For A5 you go through the flyers category, with a minimum of 25 copies at 31.50 € the batch.
2. Vistaprint
You've probably seen one of their adverts, like the one by the water, where the burger bar gets attacked by fish and, at the end, the young entrepreneur turns to Vistaprint to print her new materials for a sushi bar concept. Well, you can print your lovely posters there too! And if you're new to online printing, Vistaprint will put your mind at rest!
You're guided step by step, from uploading your poster right through to checkout. It even checks with you whether the file has been approved by a designer.
Yes, they only do A3 for posters, but you know the trick by now: head to “flyers” and you can print your posters in A4 or A5!
Bear in mind there's a minimum of 25 copies, but no panic: you can always hand some out to your guests if it's a big family. ;)

Personally, we think it's great value for money. They offer a wide choice of paper weights: economy 130gsm, standard 170gsm, superior 250-300gsm or premium 400gsm, and the prices are very attractive! Take a look at our sample order, you'll be pleased ;)

3. Veoprint
Now let's move on to Veoprint.
This is THE fully professional site!
When it comes to advice and information, Veoprint is the one that stands out!
If you're unsure about the paper weight and print format for your poster, Veoprint has taken the trouble to explain everything, so you get exactly the print you want and know when to choose a particular paper type and format.
As for the buying journey, the first thing you're asked is the format. Here you'll only find A4 and A3 in the “posters” category, but nothing stops you selecting “flyers” printing, as with Vistaprint or Online Printers, to order an A5 format.
Yes, the minimum is 100 prints, but put them to good use if it's a big family or if you'd like to show them to your future clients!

For these simulations, we ticked the recommended “electronic proof file check” option at 9.90 € plus the handling fee.
For 100 A4 prints (minimum quantity):
Economy delivery comes to 49.20 €, fast delivery to 66 € and priority delivery to 102 €.
On the A3 side, we looked at 5 prints (minimum quantity):
For A3, the price drops to 33.60 € with economy delivery and 34.80 € with fast delivery; for priority delivery, Veoprint sends you to a quote request.
Finally, for A5 in the flyers category, we ran an order for 100 prints (minimum quantity):
And in A5, still through the flyers category: 31.20 € with economy delivery, 52.68 € with fast delivery, 75.48 € with priority delivery.
4. Ooprint
Second to last on the list, Ooprint works differently from the others. To place an order you need to create an account or log in: that's its little quirk. ;)
The rather cool bit is that you can order a small number of prints at a good price! And yes, in the “posters” category they only do A3, but you can print in A4 and A5 by choosing the "flyers" category.
Exactly as with Online Printers, where we suggest printing your posters in that category when not every format is available under “posters". ;)
Their ordering system is clearly super simple!
Step 1: choose the format.
Step 2: upload the poster and select the number of prints. Quick note: if you want a specific quantity that isn't in the list, click the “?” next to the number and you'll get an adviser's phone number.
Step 3: and finally, all that's left is to choose your paper weight!

Here we are, at last, our favourite! You may be wondering why this is the site we love, and quite simply it's because it does everything in one!
It's easy to use and offers every print format at very attractive prices. Here there's no need to type “posters” into the search bar: it already has its own tab. ;)
And what's even better is that Copytop offers free click and collect, a check of your files and a free test print!
To print your poster, you simply select the quantity you want. Note that if you need fewer than 5 copies, you'll just have to submit an online quote request (it's quick, don't worry) or call Copytop directly.
And lastly, you can choose the paper type and leave a comment if you need to. ;)

Frequently asked questions
I only need one poster, is that possible? Yes, but not everywhere. Vistaprint prints a single A3 for 5.84 €, and Ooprint also accepts one A3 copy, at 7.20 €. Copytop goes down to 5 copies for a direct order; below that you have to request a quote online or call. Online Printers asks for a minimum of 10 copies in A3 and A4, and Veoprint goes up to 100 in A4.
Why isn't A5 listed under posters? At Online Printers, Vistaprint, Veoprint and Ooprint, the poster section stops at A3 or A4. A5 is ordered from the flyers category: the paper is not the same, but inside a frame the difference doesn't show. Copytop is the only one in this list that offers every size straight from its poster tab.
Should I avoid glossy paper for a poster with a QR code? Yes. A glossy finish reflects light and makes the QR code harder for the guest to scan. Go for a matt finish, whichever printer you choose.
How much do 25 A4 posters cost? 31.45 € at Vistaprint with an economy paper weight and standard stock, 34.68 € at Ooprint. Online Printers charges 49.90 € for 10 A4 on 100 g coated paper, and Veoprint doesn't go below 100 copies in A4, at 49.20 € with economy delivery. Check what file checking and shipping add to the total.
Can I avoid shipping costs? Copytop offers free click and collect, so yes if you have a branch nearby. Online Printers charges nothing for a 3 working day turnaround, but asks 11.16 € for 2 days and 25.76 € for same day delivery. At Veoprint the gap is wide: 49.20 € on economy against 102 € on priority for 100 A4.
How do I check my file before printing? Vistaprint walks you through every step up to the basket and confirms that the file has been approved by a designer. Veoprint offers an electronic proof check at 9.90 €, presented as a recommended option. Copytop checks your files and includes a free test print, which is still the most reassuring route the first time you print a poster.
