Tourist accommodation and the covid crisis 19<\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_custom_heading][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;919304&#8243;]For hotels, the drop in <strong>sales<\/strong> is brutal (compared to 2019): <strong>minus 43%<\/strong>! However, the hotel industry in France is more <strong>resilient<\/strong> than its neighbors: 47% in the UK and 63% in Germany. Unsurprisingly, the most affected hotels are <strong>luxury hotels<\/strong>, due to the lack of <strong>international clientele<\/strong>. However, <strong>leisure tourism<\/strong> has not fallen off dramatically. In fact, by postponing their trip to <strong>France<\/strong>, the French have boosted bookings in the <strong>mountains<\/strong> and on the <strong>coast.<\/strong> Rental prices soared, and <strong>houses with swimming pools<\/strong> were snapped up during the summer!
